Washington CORE supported the 6th Japan Infrastructure Investment Forum held in Detroit, Michigan on February 8, 2024. This Forum was sponsored by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism (MLIT) with a score of distinguished officials such as the Lt. Governor of Michigan, MLIT State Minister, Assistant Secretary of U.S. DOT, Consul-General of Japan in Detroit and industry representatives.

This year’s theme was “The Future of Mobility” – a topic well alighted with the history of Detroit where modern mobility industry was originated. This Forum has been instrumental in bringing the top technology companies and policy makers to facilitate further collaboration of two countries. Washington CORE team worked closely with the MLIT to design, plan and execute this important event.
